It is our objective and philosophy that all of our patients receive the best possible care and service. Patients frequently have questions regarding financial issues relating to treatment. We thought it would be helpful to inform you of Greater Lansing Endodontic’s financial policies.
We participate with Delta Dental of Michigan as a Premier partner. We electronically submit all Delta claims on the day of service and the day of endodontic completion. Co-payments, deductibles, and payments for services not covered are your responsibility and expected when you arrive for your appointment. For your convenience, we do our best to accurately estimate copays.
If Greater Lansing Endodontics does not have an agreement with your insurance carrier, our insurance department will bill the insurance company as a courtesy to you. However, you are still responsible for the full payment at the time services are rendered.
Any patient over the age of 18, or an emancipated minor, will be held financially responsible for all the charges incurred. For minors, the parent who accompanies the minor for their first visit will be financially responsible for all charges incurred.
Patients will be billed in full for any services that the health plan deems as “not a benefit” or a “non-covered service.” When and if this occurs we will send a one-time statement for payment in full within 30 days.
Greater Lansing Endodontics accepts Cash, Personal Checks, Money Orders, Discover, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and ATM debit cards as forms of payment.
A $50 fee will be assessed for all returned checks.
Refunds will be issued to patients monthly. Since the copayments are estimates of any balance not covered by the insurance company, it is not uncommon to have a refund due back to you.
Greater Lansing Endodontics reserves the right to turn any account over to collections if it is deemed that the account has been in default of payment or compliance with this policy.
In the event you are unable to make your scheduled appointment, please provide notice at least 24 hours prior to the appointment. Greater Lansing Endodontics reserves the right to bill our standard office visit fee for non-compliance.
